Who we are
Window Cleaning Management System is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us at any time via the contact form.
What data we collect and why
- Account data — your name, email address, business name and login credentials, used to create and secure your account (legal basis: performance of our contract with you).
- Business data you enter — your customers, schedules, jobs, invoices, payments, expenses and receipt images, used to provide the Service to you (legal basis: performance of our contract with you).
- Support messages — messages you send through our contact form, used to respond to you (legal basis: legitimate interests).
- Usage and device data — basic technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, used for security, fraud prevention and improving the Service (legal basis: legitimate interests).
Payment details (card numbers and billing information) are collected and processed directly by Paddle, our Merchant of Record — we never see or store your card details.
Who we share data with
- Service providers — hosting, database and storage providers that process data on our behalf to run the Service.
- Paddle — our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Professional advisers — such as accountants or legal advisers, where necessary.
- Authorities — where we are required to do so by law.
International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When data is no longer needed — for example after you delete your account — it is deleted or anonymised. You can delete your account and all associated data yourself at any time from the Settings page.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We respond to requests within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls and per-account data isolation.
Cookies
The Service uses only essential cookies and storage needed to keep you signed in and make the app work. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies.
